After graduating from his master’s study at Rotterdam School of Management (Finance & Investments) and bachelor’s studies at Maastricht University (International Business) and Shanghai Fudan University (Business Administration), Rutger started his career in the Rabobank M&A team back in 2021.

Over the course of 3 years, Rutger has advised on several transactions across multiple sectors (EV > EUR 7bn), including the P-to-Ps of Hunter Douglas and Boskalis and the sale of iDEAL to EPI.
